MIT's Laboratory for Energy and the Environment (LFEE) is a research lab focusing on energy and sustainability. While LFEE is not a degree-granting unit, the LFEE Education Program coordinates sustainability education projects at MIT, in the local community, nationally, and internationally. Prospective undergraduate and graduate students who want to be involved in research at LFEE must apply first to an MIT academic department.
